Hi there, just wanted to thank you guys at Gecko's for making our stay there so wonderful! We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back. All your staff were really nice, very friendly and always ready to help. We were looking to get away from the crowded resort atmosphere while vacationing and Gecko's did just that for us. Most of the time it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves which was awesome and not to forget the delicious food which was served just the way we liked. Miss you all at Gecko's especially our bartender Wame!

Had an AMAZING 12 night holiday at the Geckos Resort this summer. The staff are warm and wonderful, they really take care of you and make you feel like you are at home. Food is outstanding, as are the Friday and Sunday night shows. The grounds, gardens, lily pond, and cultural center are stunning.

I would whole-heartedly recommend this resort to anyone. Thank you so much Katalina, Imma, Arieta, Maraya, Sam, Junior, Auntie, Monica, Helen and Darren for everything!! (Hope I didn't leave anyone out.) We can't wait to come back, with the kids.

We recently had seven nights at Gecko's Resort and could not have been happier. Right from our initial contact with reservation the contact from Gecko's was personal and friendly so by the time we arrived it almost seemed if we had known the managers - Helen and Darren - for years!

Nothing was any trouble, the staff are happy and friendly and are always there with a lovely smile to help with any needs.

The bedrooms were clean, spacious and our beds made even before we returned from breakfast. Meals and drinks suited our budget and the cultural show was fun and entertaining - the resort was laid back and casual. Many thanks again to Helen, Darren and staff - fabulous!

My boyfriend and I recently travelled to Fiji for our anniversary, and stayed at Gecko's Resort. You could not ask for more friendly and helpful staff! They were just fantastic!

The food was delicious and a really good price! The island dancing show was fantastic also - and free - unlike other resorts!

We ran into a little bit of trouble - having my passport and $$ stolen in Nadi - the managers were so great, letting us use their internet and phone, offering to let us stay if needed. We cannot thank them enough!

The rooms were nice and thoroughly cleaned everyday - nothing super fancy, but nice enough to stay in for a week.

They have a taxi service and spa service which are easily booked and quite cheap!

We recently spent several nights at Gecko's resort and found it a very clean and comfortable, simple hotel. The accommodation is spacious, and includes coffee making facilities, which we really enjoy for an early morning cuppa. The cultural show was excellent and very well attended (book your table for dinner those nights, even if you are a guest at the resort).

The food was excellent - particularly recommended is the Reef and Beef and curries, but it was all good.

As we had rented a small car we were able to explore the local attractions, including the Sigatoka Dunes, Natadola beach, Nadi, Raymond Burr's gardens and the Sigatoka fort - all well worth doing.

My recent trip to Fiji for a family wedding was made more memorable by my stay at Geckos Resort on the Coral Coast. Set in beautiful gardens with a lily pond, it was the most beautiful setting to chill out from my busy life at home. The managers, Helen and Darren are very welcoming and their staff are just beautiful.

They all addressed me by name from the first day. My room was truly a home away from home. The Fijian dance troupe who performed for us at dinner time were spectacular. The cultural tour was fascinating and gave a good background of Fiji's history and was included free. Taxis were available for a very reasonable price to take us into town or to other resorts or tourist attractions.

I didn't want to go home and will definitely come back to Geckos again. I will be recommending Geckos to all my friends.

I had never been to Fiji before, so wasn't quite sure what to expect. Our travel agent ended up booking us into Geckos as we needed to stay on the Coral Coast for a wedding. And we were also on a budget, so didn’t want to spend too much money on accommodations.

First impressions...GREAT! And only got better.
The staff are what make this place I think. Super friendly, and always happy to help and make you feel really welcome. They definitely made my stay in Fiji one to remember.

Rooms are decent - nice and tidy, lots of space!

We had dinner at the hotel twice, and both times enjoyed our food. My fave was the chicken and pumpkin pasta!

Special mention to Junior the bartender- top bloke!!

I would definitely stay at Geckos again. Great value for money. Very clean and tidy. Was very sad to leave this place.

After travelling to Fiji for the past seven years. I recently spent five days at Geckos. Absolutely Fabulous. The most friendly Staff and hosts Helen & Darren. Not only is the food great but it is also great value for money.

Gecko's is clean & set in beautiful surrounds. I will stay there again.

Hi Helen & everyone,

Well we arrived back in Sydney & I had to email you to thank you again for the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. As you know all our friends had dinner in your restaurant & they are still talking about how good it was. We are telling everyone to stay with you guys. Your staff are so friendly yet professional not to mention accommodating, they gave us all the tips on the area & the shopping.

Wish we could say the same about the rest of our holiday it was a disaster I now wish we had stayed at Geckos the entire time. At the other place we had no hot water in the shower one day, the staff partied with the guests & as a result we didn’t get breakfast (the staff couldn’t be woken up. We couldn’t open one window as it was broken, then to top things off even the Manager was smoking in the kitchen whilst the dinner was being cooked.

It was a pleasure meeting you last week during my stay at Gecko's for the Fiji Dive Fiesta event being hosted across the street. I was impressed with Gecko's Resort - the layout, the rooms and the staff were phenomenal. After 4 years in Fiji, it's nice to still be able to be impressed with some places, even the smaller ones such as you guys are managing now.

Anyhow, thanks again for everything, and hopefully I'll see you again sometime in the future….

Just wanted you to know the kids and us are still talking about the great stay we had at Gecko’s Resort last month. Our sister got married at the Shangri-La which is only 500 meters from your resort.

So being a family on a budget we had the best of both worlds. We were able to attend the wedding in a top priced location but at the same time enjoy the incredible facilities, value for money and great hospitality right next door at Gecko’s.! And with Barry and I really getting stuck into the occasion, it was great at the end of it to slip just across the way and really chill out from all the madness at your resort.

The kids had a fantastic time and as parents it was reassuring to know we were staying in a place that was not only clean and fun but also safe. So a big thanks, particularly to the staff who really seemed more like good friends. We’d better start saving because we’re certainly coming back!

Just a quick note to say thanks for everything you and your staff did for us when we stayed at Geckos Resort. As it was our first holiday overseas getting met at the airport was excellent and it certainly took the worry out of things right from the beginning.

We found the facilities, food and value far exceeded our expectations. Plus having a self contained unit was a fantastic choice as it gave us a bit more privacy and space that a hotel probably doesn’t offer.

By the way the fresh seafood in the restaurant was awesome!
